The Progress Pride Flag was inspired by the Philadelphia Pride Flag and was developed by Daniel Quaser. The white, light blue and light pink was added to make the flag more inclusive to the trans community. The black and brown stripes were added to represent communities of colour. The black was added to represent those who lost their battle with HIV/AIDS during the crisis that occurred in the 1980s and 1990s. 
 
 Red - Life/Sex (hot pink used to represent sex)

Yellow - Sunlight
Green - Nature
Blue - Serenity/Harmony
Purple - Spirit
 
It's important to note that although not all colours are represented in this flag, the plus in the LGBTQIA+ holds space for diverse gender and sexual identities.
 
Chakra Energy is also present in each of these representations of colour on the flag.
